FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What can you offer for non-players?
Each station has a TV showing what the players can see, so any non-players can watch the action too. We have a lounge area, where we offer hot and cold drinks for £1-2.
Can we cater for walk-ins?
Yes we do, but we do recommend booking online to prevent disappointment. Booking online ensures your session will be available.
Do we have Parking?
We do not have parking however there are car parks a short distance from the premises. Closest is Church Road, GU51 4ND.
What is our minimum age?
Chimera VR has a minimum age of 8 years old. This is due to various health and safety considerations and not being able to comfortably fit smaller heads in the headsets.
For Escape rooms we recommend 12+ due to complexity, however, if there is an adult playing this can be lowered to 8+
How many headsets should I book for my session?
We would recommend booking 1 headset per person to prevent time lost during your session whilst changing and adjusting headsets for different people.
Do we offer food and drinks?
We have a selection of hot and cold drinks on site which can be purchased. Unfortunately we do not have the ability to sell hot food, but we are a short walk away from many popular restaurants.
How long are your sessions?
Our sessions range upwards from 60 minutes. With announcements of remaining time in the headsets. If you would like to add extra time, this is something we can do instore, providing the headsets are free for use.
Do people suffer from motion sickness often?
We rarely encounter people suffering from motion sickness. However, some games do cause issues with motion sickness so if you tell us about it we can help you avoid these.
