What is VR?

Virtual reality is a simulated experience that can be similar to or completely different from the real world. It allows you to walk the plank 60 stories high, escape tombs with challenging puzzles or dodge bullets.

We use powerful gaming computers and top-of-the-range headsets to ensure that you’re completely immersed.

FAQ's

Step 1 - Book your stations

Each player needs 1 station per session and you'll need to book multiple stations in order to play multiplayer games with eachother. You can book your selected package using the options at the top of the page.

Step 2 - Come to the shop

Come to our shop located at 165-167 Fleet Road. The lead person will need to sign our waiver and any under 18's will need a parent present to sign on their behalf. All under 14's must be supervised throughout their session.

Step 3 - Get set up onto the stations

Customers should turn up 10 minutes early to sign the waiver, then we will give you a guide on how to wear your headset and how to use your controllers. If we are busy, we may not be able to give extra time to late customers.

Step 4 - Enjoy your session!

In the arcade we have over 60 games to chose from and you have full freedom over what you play. Our escape rooms can be finished within your hour, if you take longer and we are quiet you can play until you finish.

Friendly staff and smooth experience. A really smooth and enjoyable experience led by patient and knowledgable staff who just want to make sure you’re having the best time ever. Really impressed with this place. I learned that they’ve been open a couple years, just before the pandemic in fact. So happy to see a place like this open despite everything. A wonderful experience from start to finish I am writing this review while I am actually here! I’m not playing but 8 of my sons friends are and I honestly can’t speak highly enough for how amazing the staff are! They are so patient and attentive and have helped the boys discover games, help them with controls and they are having the best time ever! I would highly recommend this place, a must have for a weekend activity, party or just because!

Amazing! Something different, we really enjoyed our visit, have sore muscles after one hour of playing! Staff was super friendly and helpful. They were all the time around and jumped in whenever people were struggling. Thank you so much and definitely see you again soon!

Busy but amazing staff Hugh and Shaun were amazing hosts and even when short staffed and had alot of bookings they were there to help everyone. May have been stressful but always had a smile on their faces

Amazing VR experience! Had a amazing time at Chimera VR! Great fun with the family and the staff are lovely and accommodating for beginners. The staff were always readily on hand throughout our experience. The guide to use the VR was explained very clearly and there was a good selection of games to play. Would highly recommend!

Could not get better customer service! My kids wanna live here! This has been our second visit and yet again we have had amazing time!My boys 9 & 12 cannot stop pleading with me to take them back. There are so many games available that my worry of my youngest finding games that he could play were squashed. We took Uncle with us this time and he had a blast too (49)!! The staff are AMAZING!!!! such terrific customer service, and I so rarely see it these days, it actually brought a tear to my eye the kindness and service that was provided for us. They talked us through how it works and how to use the handsets, they were constantly on hand to talk us through a particular instruction of a game and also to provide seats if we went on the rollercoaster game. When my youngest felt a bit sick she was on hand and gave him some water, which she refused to take payment for, And she even held my hand when I was scared walking the plank!We will definitely be returning and recommending. Thank you!
